Roger Robbins, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Massage therapy is my second career, after spending many years working with large companies in Information Technology, I’m now in a field I’m truly passionate about. I have an unwavering desire to help others in a natural and meaningful way and find the impact therapeutic bodywork can have on a client's well-being to be very rewarding work. I love what I do, and believe a few sessions of compassionate and targeted massage therapy can be transformative, reducing pain and relieving stress.
I graduated with honors from the School of Massage Therapy at Parker Chiropractic University in 2009 and have since completed additional training in various advanced techniques including: Orthopedic Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Sports Massage, Kinesio-Taping, Lymphatic Drainage, and Thai Massage. While each of my sessions is therapeutically focused I strive to make the session as relaxing and restorative as possible and often mix in techniques such as: Swedish, Myofascial, Hot Stone, and Reflexology.
I hold a Personal Training Certification from the National Association of Sports Medicine. Additional college credits include classes in nutrition, exercise physiology, anatomy & physiology, kinesiology and gross anatomy.
My personal hobbies and interests include SCUBA diving, photography, yoga and a lot of my free time is spent working with my Border Collie.
